  it seems to have went downhill under new ownership. many tanks are dirty and a few had decomposed fish in them. not all tanks were bad but more than a couple needed some maintenance. one freshwater tank looked to be plagued with ich. not surprisingly it had several dead fish in it. i decided to go there 3 times over a 6 month period to make sure it wasn't a rare occurrence but all 3 times have had the same experience only it seems to be getting worse. as much as i want to support the local business id rather drive 20 minutes to duluth and pay 20% more for much better selection and quality. 2 stars because the food selection is good, freshwater is very bland with limited selection, the saltwater side is much smaller selection than when jim owned it. prices are still outrageous on the saltwater livestock. freshwater is fair for the area but the fish are not high end examples by any means. world of fish is probably the best place to go for freshwater if you don't mind paying a high premium for them. saltwater your better ordering online or driving down to saltwater empire in bloomington.
